Brief History of the Barangay
Barangay Poblacion, the 9th largest barangay in Rosario, Cavite, has a land area of 20.69 hectares and a population of 1,801 constituents.
As mandated under Republic Act 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, Barangay Poblacion, Rosario, Cavite shall endeavor to be self-reliant and shall continue exercising the powers; and discharging the duties and responsibilities of national government units; and exercise such other powers as necessary or appropriate or incidental to efficient and effective provisions of basic services and facilities.
Barangay Poblacion has a total land area of 20.6975 hectares.
Based on the PSA Census 2015, the population of barangay Poblacion was 1,894 people with a density of 92 per hectare.
